Music Jam ‘08!

“The Music Jam T-Shirt is located at the Plaza.
The original Maracas, given out in 2007, are located in the Cove.
There’s a new room, but you must be a member to be able to go into it. Go to the Snow Forts, buy a Backstage Pass from the Booth.
Then go to the Dock and click the ‘V.I.P. Only’ sign and you will enter the room.
You can walk to the ‘Instruments 4 Sale’ box to view the Music Catalog.
Music Catalog Secrets
There is a cheat/secret in the Music Catalog, click the ‘i’ in “Music Catalog” for Red Electric Guitar.
Lastly, the new DJ Game, DJ3K, is available at the Night Club. Unfortunately, they kept everything in the sneak peek, but took my name off. 
The point of the game is to be a DJ and create a song with lots of effects using all the buttons, tapes, knobs, etc. The longer you DJ there and the better the song, the more coins you get when you exit (To exit, click the X at the upper right). This may or may not be a temporary game because of its lack of instructions, no point counter (which most CP minigames have), and the fact that all the big, DJ machinery is not there in normal Club Penguin. And it doesn’t seem to provide a ‘play your song in your igloo’ feature like we predicted.
And don’t forget to check out every room (especially the Dojo), they’re all decorated based on different music genres! And you can use the Applause button on any good bands that you see!

New Game With Party!!!
With the launch of the party, the new game will be released!!!!!!!!! Here is an update from Screenhog, straight from Club Penguin:
“Hi Everyone!
Ever since Club Penguin began, there has been a DJ table sitting in the Night Club.
The plan always was to turn the DJ table into something more fun, something more interactive, but we never really got around to it.
Until now.
On Friday, July 25 with the launch of the Music Jam ‘08 party, we are introducing the new game! It’s Club Penguin’s first music-making game!
Of course, it’s a little hard to show how cool it is from just a screenshot, since you can’t actually hear the music. But when it launches with the party, you will.

Music Jam and Game Sneek Peek!

There’s been so much excitement around the new features so I thought I’d give you something else to look forward to…July’s party!

In other news: Did you see the construction at the Night Club?
Something big is happening there – Grab your hard hats and jackhammers if you want to help out. I don’t want to give too much away but I can tell you it’s related to the party and a new game that will be coming!! Also, to get you in the groove for the musical festivities, new furniture and music were released today. I can’t wait to see how you’ve rocked out your igloos!!

New Features!!
The new features have officially been launched! I know it took a while but the wait is up!If i were you, I’d check it out, NOW! Here is what Club Penguin has said they’ve launched:
“Hello Penguins!
- Server selection (this one you’ll notice when you’re logging into Club Penguin!)
- Penguin Mail (click the envelope on the top left screen to try it out)
- Player Card redesign (check out the sorting function!)
- Igloo background (This one just looks really cool!)
- Your penguin name and password will need to be re-entered when you login for the first time with the new features. If you can’t remember your password, just click the Forgot Password link below the login. A new password will be sent to the email you used to create your penguin account.
- You need to have Flash Player 9 installed on your computer in order to play Club Penguin.

New Music Game Soon to Come!!
Club Penguin has a new game in the making due at the end of the month! It has to do with the Music Festival at the end of the month. Here’s a sneak peek from CP:

A couple weeks ago I promised I would post a few more summer sneak peeks! I was able to get a bit of info on a new project the team is working on for the end of the month. I think you’re going to like it–especially if you’re into music! It’s a new game–but I don’t want to give away too much, but I was able to get some concept art from the team. Here it is. The catalogs came out on Friday and I think they’re better than ever!!! They have all new ROCKING clothes!!!

The new clothing catalog was added to the Gift Shop today and there’s lots of new stuff to check out! Do you recognize any of it from the sneak peek earlier in the week?It’s hard to decide what I like best, but the Sunburst Acoustic guitar is definitely at the top of my list. What about you? Club Penguin is celebrating the 4th of July by setting off fireworks at the Iceburg! They are very colorful so check them out!
